Furnell Residential has donated a luxury hamper to help Bardsey Primary School raise funds for a new garden.

The hamper was the star prize in a raffle which took place at the East Keswick Beer Festival, with the winning ticket belonging to Colm McNeil.

The raffle was organised by the 'Friends of Bardsey Primary School' and all proceeds will go towards the creation of a new garden within the school grounds.

Head Teacher Sally Clark, said: "We are extremely grateful to Furnell Residential for donating the hamper and to all the people who bought tickets to be in with a chance of winning.

"I also wish to pay tribute to to the 'Friends of Bardsey Primary School' who work tirelessly on our behalf. In the last two years they have raised £35,000 to help us progress a number of initiatives for the benefit of our wonderful children which would otherwise have not been possible." 

Ben Furnell, Managing Director of Furnell Residential, said: " As a company based in Bardsey and extremely active in the surrounding area we are delighted to support the school with their fundraising efforts and look forward to seeing the new garden in full bloom next spring."

Furnell Residential is making a financial contribution for every property they sell during the next 12 months.


The money will help support the amazing work the charity does.
