Linton

Linton is a village 1.5 miles south-west of Wetherby  of Collingham . It lies between Wetherby and Sicklinghall, on the north bank of the River Wharfe, opposite Collingham on the south bank.

The Main Street has a well-known and popular public house called the Windmill Inn, which also serves food.  There are no shops or schools but there is plenty of choice of both within easy reach. The excellent Wetherby Golf Club is situated on the outskirts of the village.as The historic Wood Hall Hotel and Spa, complete with health-club facilities. The Memorial Hall has a car park and tennis courts.

Linton Village Society was formed some 35 years ago with the aim of preserving the environment of the village.
