Boston Spa & Thorp Arch
Boston Spa and Thorp Arch are two adjacent villages situated 3 miles south of Wetherby and 11 miles from Harrogate.
Boston Spa, renowned for its Georgian architecture, is on the south bank of the River Wharfe which separates it from Thorp Arch, with the two linked by Thorp Arch Bridge.
As recently as 2021 Boston Spa was named the most popular village in Yorkshire and it’s easy to see why.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside, the High Street is a vibrant mix of independent shops, stylish boutiques, eateries serving a wide choice of cuisine, pubs and wine bars which create a real café society feel. There is also any number of clubs, sporting or otherwise, which create a real sense of community and belonging.
Meanwhile, Thorp Arch is situated on the north bank of the River Wharf and is itself a thriving community that offers a mix of rural tranquillity and modern amenities. A quick hop over the bridge and you are sampling the delights of Boston Spa.
Thorp Arch is also home to the Thorp Arch trading estate which houses over 140 businesses.
