Furnell Residential has helped raise more than £12,000 for St Gemma’s Hospice through its sponsorship of the Bingley Arms 953AD Golf Day.

Held at Leeds Golf Centre, the annual event brought together local businesses, friends and regulars of the Bingley Arms in Bardsey to raise vital funds for St Gemma’s, while also celebrating the life and legacy of former landlord Ged Sugden.

The popular event provided an opportunity for the local community to come together for a day of golf and fundraising with the impressive total reflecting the generosity of everyone who took part and supported the event.

Ben Furnell, managing director of Furnell Residential, said: “It was once again a pleasure to be involved with this fantastic event. A huge amount of hard work goes into making the day happen, and it was wonderful to see those efforts rewarded with such an impressive amount raised for St Gemma’s.

“St Gemma’s is a charity we have a very personal connection with, which makes it especially meaningful for us to be able to support the hospice and the incredible work it does within our local community.".
