Furnell Residential has been announced as the main sponsor of this year’s Clifford Champion Beer Festival.
The event takes place at Clifford Village Hall on Saturday 25th June, with all proceeds being shared between the village hall and Clifford Amateur Football Club.
Real ale connoisseurs will have over 30 beers to choose from and there will also be a prosecco and gin bar, along with cider, wine and soft drinks. Live music will run throughout the day.
Ben Furnell of Bardsey based Furnell Residential said: “This is a well-known and popular family event which attracts people from far and wide. As a community minded company we are delighted to offer our support.”
Tony Blackmore who helps organise the Festival added “We cannot thank Ben and the team at Furnell enough for their most generous contribution which we are sure will help make the day a huge success.”
Meanwhile, Furnell has recently supported other local organisations and fund-raising initiatives. These include the Clifford Juniors Under 14 Girls football team, the Collingham and Linton Beer Festival and the Ged Sugden Memorial Golf Day organised by the Bingley Arms, in aid of St Gemma’s Hospice.
Furnell Residential is also making a financial contribution to St Gemma’s for every property it has sold in the 12 months to March 2022.
Furnell Residential is a family run business covering Wetherby and surrounding areas including Bardsey, Collingham, Scarcroft, East Keswick, Boston Spa, Harewood, Clifford and parts of Harrogate.
