The hybrid agency which launched less than 12 months ago has already established itself as a key player in the North and West Yorkshire residential property market with a reputation for excellent customer service, backed up by an impressive sales success rate.
As a hybrid agency Furnell Residential offers everything that a traditional agent does, but without a high street presence. According to Managing Director Ben Furnell this approach reflects current consumer trends.
He explains: "The high street is no longer the automatic choice for the general public to shop and go about their routine business. Sadly this view is borne out by the number of high street retailers who have gone into liquidation over recent months and more are certain to follow.
"Their demise has been at the expense of the online retailers who go from strength to strength, proving people are more than happy to conduct any number of retail activities from the comfort of their sitting room, including looking for a new home."
Furnell Residential uses all the main property portals to ensure the properties it represents reach the widest possible audience, but this is only part of the process says Ben.
"We are based in the area in which we operate and this gives us a real understanding of the local marketplace, allowing us to provide customers with realistic valuations and face to face advice. We have also devised a 5 step guide to simplify the whole house moving process and this is backed up by good old fashioned customer service.
"The resut is that our percentage sold subject to contract versus availble stock is higher than most, if not all, the traditional agents in the area."
