Furnell Residential is celebrating its third birthday.

The Bardsey based estate agent has enjoyed rapid growth since launching in the spring of 2018 and is now one of the most respected and best performing agents in the area.

As recently as January the company was first of the 38 agents in the area for sales, according to property portal Rightmove’s internal statistics.

Over the last three years the agency has carried out in excess of 500 valuations, listed around 350 properties and sold over 300.

Ben Furnell, managing director, of Furnell Residential, said: “The last 36 months have been absolutely incredible, during which time we have successfully taken market share from the more established players.”

Furnell is a truly independent family business with Ben supported by his wife Victoria and sister Lauren.  

“The fact that we are a tight knit family group is a key reason for our success,” explained Ben. “It is our family name which is over the door and we stand or fall by the quality of service we provide and the results we deliver.”                                                   

Ben has a wealth of experience in the estate agency industry and has used this to good effect in developing the Furnell brand. He said: “To many of the larger agents customers are just a number and the key currency is volume, often at the expense of service.

“From day one we have put customer service at the heart of everything we do and this is emphasised by the fact we are available 24/7. The first thing we do when we get a new instruction or are invited to a valuation is give the customer our mobile number which they can call at any time.

“We have also tried to streamline the whole buying and selling process by ensuring the customer has a single point of contact who is with them throughout the journey. The rapport we develop means that people who start as customers end up as friends, and that’s something we are very proud of.”

Meanwhile Furnell Residential recently announced a partnership with St Gemma’s Hospice through which they will make a financial contribution for every property they sell during the next 12 months.
