News at Furnell Residential | 31/03/2023

Bardsey based estate agent Furnell Residential has announced it will continue as the headline sponsor of the Annual Clifford Champion Beer Festival.

This year’s event takes place on Saturday 24th June at the Clifford Village Hall, with all proceeds being shared between the hall and Clifford Amateur Football Club.

Real ale aficionados will have 30 beers, plus ciders and lagers to choose from and there will also be a prosecco and gin bar along wine and soft drinks. Live music will run throughout the day and food will include wood-fired pizza and pie and peas.

The cost of entry is £6.00 as it was in 2022 and for those wanting to beat the queues advanced tickets go on sale on Monday, 1st May.

Ben Furnell, Managing Director of Furnell Residential, said: “This is a well-established and popular community event which attracts lots of people. Last year’s festival was a credit to all those involved and as a company with community at the heart of everything we do, we had no hesitation in offering our continued support.”

Richard Brough, a member of the organising committee, commented: “We are delighted that Furnell has agreed to continue their generous sponsorship which gives us the platform to build on the success of last year.”

The 2022 Beer Festival was the first since COVID forced its postponement and raised over £9,000 for its two charity partners.

Meanwhile, Furnell continues to support its chosen charity, St Gemma’s Hospice, by making a financial contribution for every property it sells.

Furnell Residential is an independent business covering North Leeds, Wetherby, York, Harrogate and surrounding areas.
