Furnell Residential is delighted to support a gin tasting evening at St Edwards Catholic Primary School in Boston Spa.
The event on Friday 29th September has been organised by the Friends of St Edward’s to help raise much needed funds for a new roof.
Hosts The Gin Shack based in Garforth have assembled over 30 gins including many from small batch produces to sample on the night, along with a choice of cask ales. The evening also includes musical entertainment from local musician James Coley.
Helen Richards, joint Chair of the Friends of St Edward’s, said: “We are really looking forward to the event and thanks to the generous support of Furnell Residential we hope to raise lots of money towards a new roof for the school, as well as giving parents and friends a really enjoyable evening.
“Thanks also to Rebecca from The Gin Shack for all her help it putting the event on.”
Ben Furnell, managing director of Furnell Residential, commented: ”With community being at the heart of everything we do we had absolutely no hesitation in offering our support.
“I am aware these events take a lot of organising and I hope this is reflected in the amount of money raised for such a worthy cause.”
Furnell also sponsors the Annual Clifford Champion Beer Festival and The Bingley Arms Charity Golf Day. The company’s chosen charity is St Gemma’s Hospice.
