LS21 tops list of Leeds postcodes with highest household income

Otley and surrounding areas top the list of Leeds postcodes with the highest average household income.

According to details released by website Property Detective, households in LS21 which includes Otley, Pool-in-Wharfedale, Arthington, Fewston and Blubberhouses have an average household income of £44,764.

The income is the average for the area.taking into account single-adult households, retirees, students and the unemployed.

Other postcodes making the top 10 are LS22 (Wetherby, Collingham and Linton) and LS17 (Alwoodley, Moortown and Shadwell) where the average household incomes are £43,449 and £36,902 respectively .
