We were incredibly proud to sponsor this year's St Gemma's Hospice Open Gardens and what a beautiful day it tuned out to be.
The stunning gardens were open to the public who were able to explore peaceful pathways, colourful flower beds and expertly tended green spaces - while raising vital funds for a cause close to so many hearts.Guests enjoyed a relaxed afternoon of live music, plant and gift stalls, and the chance to wander through the gardens that bring so much comfort and joy to patients and families throughout the year. There was even a delicious spread of fresh sourdough bread and doughnuts, kindly donated by Country Style Foods.
The event was officially opened by Ed Anderson, Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, and supported by an incredible team of volunteers who made the day run smoothly from start to finish.
As sponsors, we at Furnell Residential were honoured to be part of such a meaningful community event. The work St Gemma’s Hospice does is nothing short of extraordinary, and it was a privilege to support an initiative that not only raises funds but also opens up a space of reflection, beauty, and hope to the wider public.
Thank you to everyone who made the day so special - we’re already looking forward to next year!
