sellers benefit from off-market sales success

News at Furnell Residential | 29/03/2021

Furnell Residential has completed over £2.7M of off-market sales on behalf of its customers during the month of March to buyers already registered on its database.

Off-market sales refers to houses which have not yet come publicly to market and have been sold without having appeared on Rightmove or any of the other leading property portals which are often the first point of reference for potential buyers.

Ben Furnell, Managing Director of Furnell Residential, said: “The market is extremely buoyant at the moment and this is only likely to increase as we enter the key spring selling period. This means not all stock makes it onto the property portals or even social media before it sells.

“It is important that people looking for a new home register with us as they are the first group of people to find out about every new instruction which matches their criteria.”

In total during March Furnell Residential sold 20 properties with further sales close to completing.  This success is also good news for St Gemma’s Hospice who receives a financial contribution for each property the company sells.

“We are delighted that our sales success is benefiting this amazing charity which will only improve as our market share increases,” said Ben.

Furnell Residential is the leading agent for Bardsey, Wetherby, Collingham, Scarcroft, East Keswick, Boston Spa, Harewood and surrounding villages.
